Exact evidence requirements vary depending on the nature of the record — a mass-participation event and a solo endurance feat are verified differently. Our review team will confirm the specific requirements for your record during the application process. In general, verification may draw on any combination of the following:
Video
Continuous, unedited footage of the attempt from start to finish, showing the measurement or count clearly.
Photographs
Clear photographic documentation of the attempt, the measurement process, and the result.
Witness Statements
Written statements from independent witnesses confirming what they observed.
Measurement Documentation
Records showing exactly how the achievement was measured — instruments used, methodology, and results.
Participant Records
For mass-participation records, a log or count of confirmed participants.
Technical Reports
Where relevant, reports from qualified professionals (e.g. timekeepers, officials, or technical experts).
Official Documents
Permits, certificates, or other official documentation relevant to the attempt.
